Maintenance Millwright – PERMANENT –Three Shift Rotation

Job description:

Three Shift Rotation

Support the development and training of Apprentice Millwrights

Perform assigned PMs and planned work on equipment in a safe and timely manner.

Perform troubleshooting and reactive repair work assigned by the supervisor according to priority list to ensure machine downtime is kept to a minimum

Perform spare part rebuilds and fabrication as required using shop equipment.

Disassemble and reassemble equipment for relocation, and or new equipment installation when required.

Ensure shop and work area are kept in clean condition to meet SQF and GMP standards.

All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications:

Must be a qualified maintenance mechanic millwright with proven capability to troubleshoot and repair paper printing and packaging machinery.

Minimum 3 years experience as a maintenance millwright.

Must demonstrate capability to effectively use shop equipment for fabrications (ie. welder, lathe, mill, drill press)

Must be able to stand, walk, crouch, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs.;

Must be able to understand the work order requirements;

Must be able to keep up to fast paced activities;

Must have very good written and oral communication skills; some computer skills; able to pass a mechanical aptitude test; able to work very well in a team environment or independently

able to determine where your assistance is required.

Must be a team player who is flexible and able to communicate well with other team members.
