Mold/Hot Runner Technician

Job description:

*Skillset: Must be able to travel globally with a valid passport and no visa restrictions. At least 50% travel. 5+ years experience in the PET preform molding industry Strong technical knowledge of hot runners, including internal hardware such as manifolds, nozzles and valve gate assemblies; ability to proficiently execute hands-on service for molds and hot runners. Field work on PET preform molding machines an asset.

*Responsibilities: At least 50% travel servicing PET molds and hot runners, including direct support of field related problems, managing field installations and startups and carrying out factory mold and hot runner tests and customer buy-offs. Required to travel to customer sites to help set up, integrate, troubleshoot, support and maintain the equipment. Significant portion of responsibilities is focused on hot runner related activities, including preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, repair work, and assembly/disassembly of internal hardware and electrical components.

Qualifications:

Mold Maker Certificate of Qualification an asset.
