Accountant

Job description:

Our client is a privately-owned Western Australian business seeking a hands on Financial Accountant to join their busy team. Working within the financial team, the successful candidate will be jointly responsible for managing all accounting functions across the business. The role will take total control across the retail sector of their business, just one of approximately 6 reporting entities. Some of the business including all reporting requirements.

What you'll be doing:

• Management of cash-flow
• Overseeing payroll functions
• Financial reporting EOM
• Management of daily transactions
• Preparation of BAS / FBT / AIS
• Management reporting
• Assistance in audit processes
• Cost analysis

Qualifications:

What you'll need:

• CPA/CA or equivalent qualification
• At least 3 years experience in a similar "all-round" accounting position
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work within a team
• High attention to detail
• Good negotiation skills
